The Bayer University Mentoring Program (B4U) is a global initiative designed to connect graduate students and postdoctoral researchers with experienced Bayer scientists for a year-long, one-on-one mentoring experience. The program focuses on bridging the gap between academia and industry by offering tailored career development, technical guidance, and professional growth opportunities. It partners with more than 20 universities across North America and others worldwide to prepare the next generation of scientists for impactful careers in agriculture, biotechnology, and related fields.
The program welcomes early-career scientists and engineers in fields such as:
- Plant Breeding, Biology, and Genetics
- Molecular Biology
- Crop Physiology
- Biotechnology
- Chemistry
- Environmental Science
- Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering
- Computer and Data Science
