Professional Development Opportunities

It is important that you work towards your own personal and professional development while in graduate school. Not only do we want to help you build the technical and research skills needed to succeed, but also the soft skills that are so important in the workplace. To this end, our office arranges educational sessions, seminars, and workshops on a wide range of topics such as budgeting, finding funding, research integrity, science communication, agricultural entrepreneurship, and many others. As we offer new opportunities, check back to see updated PowerPoint presentations and handouts. If you have questions, comments, or ideas for a new seminar, please contact Kayla Arnold.
