Effective Fellowship Writing Workshop

BioScience Writers will be hosting a fellowship writing workshop focused on the fundamentals of crafting a compelling, competitive fellowship application. This workshop is co-sponsored by The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Participants will learn:
- Preliminary Steps to Writing a Proposal (i.e. creating a timeline for deliverables)
- Steps to Design Clear Scientific Aims and Hypotheses
- Writing a Compelling Training Plan, and more!
This workshop will include hands-on writing exercises and direct feedback from BioScience Writers and your peers. Although core the content will focus on NIH award mechanisms, writing exercises and advice will be applicable to those targeting NSF and other fellowship applications as well. This workshop is open to postdocs and graduate students.
