In this session, participants will identify and articulate a personal philosophy of teaching that encourages continuous examination of teaching practice. It will cover the benefits of developing a strong teaching statement: its relevance to a career in academia, and its practical application in the classroom. Participants will also have the opportunity to begin developing their own statements. This session may be applied to completion of the requirements for a UITL Documenting Teaching endorsement.
This session is designed for graduate teaching assistants.
