Many archives exist outside of universities and museums; there are community collections and digitized artifacts that are valuable resources for researchers. This is especially true for those who are focused on underrepresented populations. This panel will feature a roundtable discussion with librarians who have interfaced with archives, digital collections, data, and other materials about and/or produced by underrepresented global communities.

Previously called write in sessions, our Owl Crew meets regularly to work on longer writing projects such as manuscripts, dissertations, or thesis work. Events occur on the Columbus and Wooster campuses. Snacks will be provided by the Office for Research and Graduate Education in coordination with the Wooster Research Library.

Wondering what digital humanities is? More importantly, wondering which digital humanities method(s) may be useful for your research? In this workshop, Leigh Bonds will provide a general overview of different digital humanities approaches. Graduate students in any arts or humanities discipline and at any stage of their programs will learn about the methods applied to humanities research, the resources and trainings available to learn more, and the transferable skills developed through this work.
