    Grant applications include various sections, one of the most important being the project narrative. This is your chance to describe your research idea to the funding agency, how it will be carried out, why your project is important, and the feasibility of such a project. In this session, we will discuss how to develop a strong project narrative and how to communicate your research clearly.   3. Columbus Professional Photo Sessions

    Do you need a professional photo taken for a resume or social networking site such as LinkedIn? We have arranged for one of our CFAES photographers to take professional photos on October 30. There are 15-minute time slots available from 10-2pm. Please sign up in advance if you would like to participate.

  6. Introduction to Sponsored Programs and Grant Budgeting for Graduate Students

    Many graduate students work with sponsored programs during their career, whether looking for funding opportunities, working with an advisor to put together a grant budget, or assisting with project reports. In this session we will explore the basics of sponsored programs, including types of sponsors and funding opportunities, as well as ways to find funding opportunities. We will also learn about basic budgeting techniques as we provide an overview of the expenses most commonly requested in grant applications.
