Previously called write in sessions, our Owl Crew meets regularly to work on longer writing projects such as manuscripts, dissertations, or thesis work. Events occur on the Columbus and Wooster campuses. Snacks will be provided by the Office for Research and Graduate Education in coordination with the Wooster Research Library.

    The Ohio State University’s West Campus Science & Sustainability Festival WestFest is a public engagement event that highlights STEM research, sustainability initiatives, and outreach programs. This year’s WestFest will be held on October 19th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event features family-friendly activities, interactive booths, and behind-the-scenes tours of Ohio State’s research facilities. It’s a great opportunity to explore science and sustainability in a fun and engaging way.

    Pumpkins & Pillbugs Halloween Bug Zoo Bash on Friday, October 18, 5-7pm. Join us for fall fun, featuring Entomology’s United Titanium Bug Zoo & Reptile Guests from Sarah’s Wild Wonders. Pick up a FREE Pumpkin & Trick-or-Treat with the Bug Zoo, then enjoy Halloween crafts & pumpkin painting. Chuy's Taco Food Truck will be on site as a quick and easy dinner option (self-pay).  Cost: FREE
