The OSU Graduate School is inviting graduate students, including all Research Forum (poster and presentation) winners, to compete at the 3MT college level completion. The 3MT is an extension of the Hayes Research Forum, giving students an opportunity to build on the work they have already done by developing a 3-minute (or less) presentation of their research as they would to laypersons, as well as a single PowerPoint slide. For more information, please check out our website: https://gradsch.osu.edu/three-minute-thesis-3mt
This year's 3MT competition is using a new process which will include a college-level review. Finalists will compete in a live event hosted by the Graduate School on February 8th, 2023, from 10:00AM to 11:30AM, University Hall, 2nd Floor, Conference Room 250Q. There will be light refreshments and an opportunity to see what research our graduate students are conducting.
Any CFAES students interested in participating should prepare a 3 minute recording of their 3MT presentation (with no more than 1 PowerPoint slide) and send this to Kayla Arnold (via email at firstname.lastname@example.org) by Monday, January 23. All submissions will undergo a short review process and the finalist will be nominated to participate in the university level competition.
