Sustainability Research Seed Grants

Nov. 16, 2020

The Sustainability Institute at Ohio State announces the request for pre-proposals for the FY2021 Sustainability Research Seed Grant Program to build capacity in sustainability and resilience research at the university. The program supports new interdisciplinary research teams that lay a foundation for convergence research.

This funding mechanism will support teams of scholars from two or more distinct disciplines and relating to one or more of the Sustainability Institute research program areas. Proposals that span across SI research program areas are encouraged. Preference will be given to teams that support junior or early career faculty and have potential for external funding. The Sustainability Institute anticipates awarding four to six seed grants ranging from $25,000 to $35,000 each.

Pre-proposals are due Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020. The deadline for invited full proposals is Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021.
