Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Program

The Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Program authorized by the Higher Education Act and administered by the U.S. Department of Education, supports the participation of low-income parents in postsecondary education through the provision of quality licensed, nationally accredited campus or community childcare services for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. The Ohio State University CCAMPIS program was funded for the first time in 2018. We are excited to be able to contribute nearly $1.4M to support the university's student parents and our partner centers.

How will this support your family?
  • Provides you with priority scheduling so you can schedule classes at the times needed allowing you to take care of classes and studying during the day so you can be a full-time parent when you go home.

  • Provides your child with a quality educational experience from nationally-accredited programs

  • Provides evening childcare from 6-10:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

  • Provides mentoring/coaching to support your academic goals.

  • Provides referrals to connect you and your family to university and community resources and services.
