Counseling and Consultation Services

Students who are able to utilize counseling services through the univeristy at no charge. CFAES has two mental health counselors embedded in the college to work primarily with our students (undergraduate and gradute level): David L. Wirt and A. Schaad. This feature enables our counselors to focus on specific challenges faced by our students and provide the most relevant assistance.

If you are a student who would like to meet with one of our embedded counselors, please visit This will enable their office to contact you to discuss needs and to schedule for sessions when needed. You can also call 614-292-5766 to start this process. Students should mention they are a CFAES student if they call to be routed to one of the CFAES embedded counselors.
